Its probably how your bleeding your brakes, but first make sure the bleeding nipples are facing upward. You should bleed diagonaly, front pass wheel then rear driver wheel. Then front driver wheel and rear pass wheel. The abs light has its own computer your have to get it scanned to clear the codes and turn off the light

You may have a leak in the booster or master cylinder. You can put a pressure tester on the system to test for leaks. It does sound like you have an air leak.
You can try to bleed the master cylinder, then slave cylinder, then brake lines.

Take it back! The ABS lights, etc could just be they forgot to connect one of the wheel speed sensors, but the brakes going out completely means they screwed something up. If they are not working, have it towed back and repaired correctly!

Testimonial: "I talked with the mechanic and he says either something in the back brakes broke or a brake line might have rusted in two?!!"
You need to take off the tire and using a prybar or large screw driver, force the caliper open by prying in the brake pad through the opening on the ccailper. One you get some slack in it, there are two bolts or screws in the ears of the caliper that must be removed. They may be an allen wrench style or a torx style. Not the bolts that hold the caliper bracket to the hub. Caliper should be able to be removed now. You then need a "C" clamp or caliper pistor compressor to push the piston all the way into the caliper in order to make room for the new pads. Good luck.
