Question about 2006 Chevrolet Impala
The engine power has been reduced is on in the info area just above the park drive area
I had the same problem. Took it to a Chevy dealer to be checked out. It turned out to be a wire that was loose that was connected to the throttle position sensor. They had just had three other 06 Impala's come in for the same problem.

Just disconnect the battery and it will reset the computer. It sounds like you altered the amperage distribution on the computer. youll see it works.

I have a 2008 Impala. Started running horribly and had "engine power reduced" warning flashing. A code analysis listed about five issues unrelated to any one cylinder. I was told to clean the master air flow sensor with carbuerator cleaner. Took it apart easily. Sprayed it down. Codes gone. Car is running better. Fingers are crossed.
