SOURCE: white smoke from exhaust

Hello;
The white smoke is from coolant entering the combustion chamber(s). Coolant can enter through the water passages sealed bu the head gasket. You have probably blown a head gasket. You should check your coolant level. You may have acracked head if you continue to drive it and overheat. The temp gauge only reads when exposed to coolant, not air. Take out thhe spark plugs and look them over. A white glossy apperance will indicate water in the combustion chamber. You may need to surface the head once you have it removed so that it is flat. Hope this helps.
Thanks;

SOURCE: white smoke comes out of

You most likely have a bad fuel pressure regulator which is causing the fuel to dump into the cylinders and flood the car.

SOURCE: I have a 2002 hundai

the sweet smell is the motor burning off the residual coolant on the components that got sprayed with coolant.if the car got overheated enough it may have damaged the head gasket and is now burning oil due to the over heating.or there is a mechanical problem due to the overheating(ring problem,valve problem,etc.)if its burning oil then it can cause an 02 problem as the sensor will get coated with what ever is coming out of the exhaust.the heat sensor is part of the 02 sensor that warms the sensor up so the computer will go into closed loop sooner and help with fuel mileage.

Is it coming from your exhaust. Does it smell like antifreeze? antifreeze has a sweet smell. That could mean a bad head gasket. Since it goes away after 15km, I'm assuming the heat expansion on the engine does away with the leak. It could also mean a lot of other things. Has your engine overheated recently?

White smoke from BMW 740i exhaust

white were? the exhaust tip, or other spot, long pipe, name spot?
white, is steam or OIL.
oil smells like burnt oil and takes for ever to dispate
steam is water, and smells , sweet due to 50% glycol inside.
and goes away fast.
but all Gas engines make water at all the time running as a by product of combustion and for sure on cold days, some times full time cold
due to climate effects.
does your neighbors car smoke at same time, (look)
bingo , dew point.

all gas engine smoke cold started, (steam)

so first find out what it is,
take the dip stick out of a hot engine. stalled, drip it on the exhaust
see that smoke ,smell it? that is burning oil
now you know what you have, steam or oil. smoke.

When i start white smokes comes out why

mine does the same thing.. it is a sign that you are burning oil kiddo..either that or antifreeze is finding its way into the engine through a crack or bad gasket.. check for oil smell and moist soot at the tailpipe, or a sweet smell if antifreeze..now if its a steam like smoke..thats normal byproduct of the burning fuel and goes away once the exhaust pipes and muffler heat up enough to blow out all the condensate water...

CAR STOPPED ACCELERATING AND WHITE SMOKE FROM TAILPIPE.

Large amounts of white smoke, often sweet smelling, indicates coolant in combustion chamber. Usually warped or cracked head.

My Chevy Tahoe started blowing white smoke from the tailpipe. What could be some of the reasons it's doing this.

Only two reasons for this first is its below 0 outside the next is blown head gasket. Now thats WHITE smoke.ONLY.If it smells sweet like anti freeze that confirms head problem. black smoke is fuel, blue smoke is oil. sorry hope this helps TIM

White smoke when reved up. No loss of fluids or coolant in the oil. Just oil-like smell burning out the tailpipe with big puff of white smoke

White smoke on startup could be a head gasket leak between the water jacket and the cylinder. Won't always show in the oil. Antifreeze makes it smell oily or sweet. Compression test will tell for sure. Bluish is oil that was burned. White is usually water or oil into exhaust after combustion.

White smoke from the tailpipe

GM is my expertise, but white smoke, is white smoke. If it doesnt go away on warm up , also is thick maybe sweet smelling, soundsl like coolant ( antifreeze) is getting into the combustion chamber and burning out through the exhaust, Could be a blown head gasket or cracked head etc. Hope this helps
