Where can I find my door code on my lincoln continental

Its sensing that there is a key in the ignition. You have to replace the switch in the ignition cylinder that senses a key is inserted. Or alternatively access a wiring diagram and cut the wire from the key sensor to eliminate it.

I think the factory code for the 2000 Lincoln Continental is 005500. Tou can find out how to re program it in you owner manual or you can fo to Ford's webstire and downlaod a manual from the maintanence area.

the door code should be posted in the trunk, look either on the right side of the trunk, in the groove, or by the fuel cut-off switch.
