Question about 1992 Honda Accord
Been sitting for 5yrs and went to start it and the light around d3 is lite and the light around the park is lite up also..IT will change when I go to reverse or neutral or any other gear but it still shows the gear lite on on d3..After four or five minutes I can hear a clicking nose underneath dash by my left foot andI turned the ignition off and started it back up but it would not go in any gear.. I take the key out of ignition and unlock the skifter to manual and stard it in neutral and then the gears will shift but it still is showing the little lite around the d3 to be on with it in park.. Any help on this? Thanks Ted
I had a similar problem mine would not shift correctly and the light stayed all the time. I replaced the TCM (transmission control module), its located under the passenger side floor board its not very hard to replace I believe its only four bolts holding it in place. Just pull back the carpet and its visible. But you have to know if its a japanese or an american built honda when you buy your new one.
