Question about 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 Truck
Once and a while I will attempt to start my truck and the starter will not engage. It acts like like it is in any gear but park or neutral. I have tried moving the shift lever and that doesn't help. If I try cycling the key into start long enough it will start. Yesterday I tapped on the Harness that comes off the positive battery terminal and that helped. I have replaced the ignition switch, starter relay, battery, starter, and gear selector grommet. I thought it might be the Park Neutral safety switch but I didn't think that would fail intermittently and will will start eventually. It seems like a wiring issue. Any suggestions?
