SOURCE: 2005 toyota tacoma air conditioning cold on left, warm on right

I would not suggest repairing yourself. Sounds like a blend door actuator. Not to sure on a toyota because i know more about domestic but i believe that the dash needs to be taken apart to replace this part or to atleast examine your duct work behind the dash. Hope this helps! ~Derek~

How do I change timing chain on Toyota corolla 1.6 4 cylinder. How do I find top dead center for cylinder number one

Basically, #1 piston should be all the way up, with the intake valve past opening and now closed and the exhaust valve just about to start opening. Buy a cheap shop manual to insure you get this correct or you will be very sorry.

Timing guides collapsed dropped timing chains.

if you have the v6 with the 4.0 OHV set the #1 piston to top dead center and then when looking at the gears where your timing chain goes look for a dot on your engion near the small gear and align the dot with the dot on the small gear. you will have to put the chain around both the top and bottom gears at the same time you might need to turn the piston a little past top dead center when doing this to get the little gear to sit in place with the slot on the back side of the gear. ( i just rebuilt my engion )

2008 toyota tacoma. when do you replace timing chain?

Never.. just run it! Timing belts need to be changed, timing chains pretty much last the life of the truck. 147,000 on mine and no plans of changing it. Dealer told me that he has changed 6 in the last 6 years, many were not due to wear.
