Question about 1991 Toyota Camry

1991 camry wont start

I have a 1991 camry and I drained the battery. I boosted it, and it was running so I went to work. After about 4 hours I went to restart it and there was some power, but wouldn't start. When we were boosting it, someone put the positive on the wrong side. Now the car won't start and the indicator when the key is in isnt beeping anymore. The lights work, but no signal from the ignition. Did I blow the main fuse? and if so, will replacing it help get it started.

You'll need to check all of the fuses to find out. You may need a test light or meter to check them correctly.

SOURCE: 91 toyota camry 4 cyl. It will not start even with

Hi Mike
Try lightly tapping the starter with a spanner and at the same time turning the key to start, if it starts you need the starter overhauled.

I would suggest having the battery tested. Theres nothing wrong with getting a jump start, It is suggested that you let the other car run for 5-10 min. W/cables hooked to your car before starting yours

My 2002 toyota camry wont start checked battery and checked starter and both were good it wont do nothing but click and the cables are tight

Low battery voltage can cause the click. Try boosting it, if it doesn't work you'll need a new starter (solenoid not doing its job).

I just attempted to replace my low beam light on my Kia Rondo and when I went to start the car back up after about an hour I noticed I for got to hook back one of the relays. When I went to plug it back in...

a desconected relay will not drain the battery, you might have some other issue. start the car using boost and then check if your alternator is charging around 14 volts
