I changed my timebelt for my 4 cyleder tiborun 2004 and then iam hearing a thin wistle in my motor tnat cames from my timebelts whats the problem plz help

without hearing it its difficult to say ,but when i change timing belts i always remove the tensioner and idlers and drop them in some diesel for a while then i use a thin sharp instrument to pull teh plastic grease seals and then a squirt of engine oil and a fingertfull of grease ,refit seal and refit ,this gives the bearing another lease of life .alsof course it could be you overtightened the belt or a cover is touching somewhere ,Did you make sure that the serpentine belt is correctly fitted and not one line over the edge of a pulley

Timebelt change

it varies from manufacturer to manufacturer but typically it is recommended to be replaced between 60K - 100K miles. A visual inspection of the belt for cracks, missing teeth, or parting will also help you determine if the belt needs to be replaced.

HI.i HAVE A MITSUBISHI eCLIPSE 2000. i HAVE CHANGE A TIMEBELT A 5 MONTHS AGO.LAST NIGHT I RAN OUT GAS... TODAY WHEN I STOP AT STOP SIGN THE CAR STALL'S ALL THE TIME... WHAT YOU THINK COULD BE THE...

When the car ran out of gas it may have tried to run on no fuel and retuned it self to attemp it. You may have to dissconnect the battery so the car can retune itself. When starting the car after reconnecting the battery. hold the engine speed higher than idle and turn every thing on. continue to run the car at the fast idle for a minute still holding the idleup a little put the car in drive holding to break and slowly let it idel down this will relearn the idle and should fix the problem

How do i change the timebelt?

if it is a screeching noise it will not be your timing belt. It could be your alternator belt or serpentine belt. You can buy some belt dressing (usually good to have) from the parts store and spray some of that on the inside of the belts where it contacts the pulley. You may also have to check the adjustments on both of those belts as well. If you run into this i can help take you step by step, but try this and see how that goes first.

I change the water pump and now my car will not star

amarilloperr If you have never done this type of repair before then it is probably true that you have installed your serpentine belt on wrong.

Go to the Autozone parts store and ask them for a copy of the diagram to properly install the belt.
