Question about 2001 Subaru Forester
Subaru Forester 2001 . With the front lights and back lights not going off even when the car is turned off are there any other suggestion other than locating the relay switch for them. . Any guidance would be appreciated.
There is no such thing as a relay switch ,I hate to tell you, They are called a (Relay) But i dout verry much that it has anything to do with a relay, The multi function switch is shot,

Provided the vehicle has been serviced regulary and had good quality oil and filters, theres no reason the car shouldn't get 400,000+ kms. Check its service history, and its oil consumption.

take out the tweeder covers if you have tweeders or remove the triangle covers were the tweeders woud be ,then stuff a klittle foam in their,worked for me

does the sunshade open and close properly,you should only be able to move this when the sunroof is closed it should move freely back and forth,if it doesn't this part is causing the noise, its off its track

yes... you'll need to remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you can access the bolts holding the mirror on and disconnect the wiring harness as well..

unfortunately you need toremove the door trim to see why its not working it may be that a simple arm or linkage has come off or something has broken in the mechanism,but you need to look at it or get someone who knows to look,mabe the gear is broken on the motor but its something
