Question about 2002 Pontiac Grand Am
Guage lights, Window Controll Lights, Ac Controll lights, And Shifter lights. All waring and overhead lights work. i have checked all fuses under hood and on both passenger and driver side doors with a circuit tester , i have also checked the bulbs in the back of the cluster
This is caused by your dash light "dimmer" either going bad, or coming un-plugged due to recent work (like stereo or alarm installation usually).. if it is unplugged - plug it in, if it is plugged in, order one from the dealer or just get one from a wrecking yard. If you have had a new stereo installed right before this happened, make sure to have them also check their wiring.
