Make sure you actually hold the button down for a while. i though something was wrong with mine too because off that

How I reset oil pressure light on my 2009 Tiguan


You don't, it is under warranty, take it to a dealer before you fry the engine. Either the pressure sensor or the pump is bad, either way needs immediate pro attention.

How do you reset the service lamp on tiguan tsi 2009


Service reset
1. Turn the ignition OFF.
2. Press and hold the reset button (0.0)

4. Release the button (0.0)
5. Within 20 seconds:
6. Press the button (min).
7. The maintenance key disappears.
8. Turn the ignition OFF.
9. The service indicator has been reset.

Note: This reset method applies only to vehicles with a fixed maintenance schedule.
All other vehicles: reset using special VAG diagnostic equipment.

I have inflated All 4 tires to 29.5 and the tire pressure yellow Sign is still on. How do I reset it on my Volkswagen Tiguan ?


first, inflate your tires to 35 psi and see what happens. you light will go off when the correct pressure is in the tires. a good indication of tire pressure is written on the tire

I would imagine you could tell if a VW was imported or not by what units the speedo was in, km or mph.

Reset tire pressure monitoring system


after you have inflated the tires to the correct pressure press the tire pressure button for a few seconds untill you hear a beep sound .that indicates the tire pressure has been reset. hope that helps

Brand new tiguan - after 3 days engine turns over but will not start. Ended up towing to dealer. After 2 days they dont know why. Any suggestions?


Hit the roof and ask for the service managers boss.
Then ask for his/her boss

Then ask for you money back.

Someone will help you after that :)
