SOURCE: 2004 GMC Sierra 4dr truck. the fan does not work

The switch or the wire harness at the blower motor has gone bad. The highest setting 5 has no resistor, so the blower runs on high but the high current flow ends up burning up the switch's contact on that setting or the resistor wire harness at the blower motor has gone bad. Common would be the switch it self, if the switch is good. Then it's going to be the wire leads at the speed resistor by the blower motor under the glove box by the passenger leg compartment. Keep me posted, be glad to help you get your Sierra running 100% again soon.

May want to look at replacing the wiper circuit board. It is located on the firewall adjacent to the wiper motor and has a some what square black cover with 3 torx screws and wireing harness pluged into the side.We had a truck that every time you washed it the wipers would stay on until it dryed out.You can try removing it and spaying it down with contact cleaner just watch the brease on the two contact tips.Well hope this helps.

I have 2007 GMC WITH A 6 SPEAKER STEREO IT ONLY WORKS ON THE FRONT TWEETERS UNTIL I DO SOMETHING LIKE STEP ON THE BRAKE THEN ALL SIX SPEAKERS COME ON PERFECTLY WORKING TILL THEY STOP

Let them try the repair, but I really doubt the technician will pull the door panel, they will likely check the wiring harness from the radio out to the speakers first.

Why don't 05 gmc sierra speakers don't work

The best way to check is to try a different speaker at each location. If you know how to use a multimeter....you can ohm out each speaker from behind the radio without having to pull panels.
A thumbs up would be greatly appreciated if this answer was helpful to you.

My 2007 GMC Sierra only plays sound out of the drivers door speaker. It has the Bose sound system. If the amp was bad would it still play out of a single speaker?

Did you try testing the speaker (not working) with an alternate music source?

If the speaker works, have you checked for continuity of the wiring?

The front door speakers are not working, but from time to time they come on for a brief moment. also, the door chime only works if the front door speakers are working. weirdest thing i've ever seen....

The door chime is played over the speaker. I had the same issue the speaker was junk. The circuit resistance was correct but no tunes. Replaced the speaker with one from the junk yard and sounds great all the time.

I have a 07 GMC Seiarra Classic. The radio has some lights that come on or go off intermittently and the sound comes of and on on some of the speakers. I dont think it is a problem with the speakers...

I have the same problem. Seems when it is dry outside, the radio works pretty good but when the humidity is up, speakers dont work and sounds like treble in the other speakers.
I am to the point as to put a aftermaket radio in the truck.
