The fuse box is located under the left end of the instrument panel. There should be a diagram inside telling you which fuse corresponds to what circuit. horn not blowing on a 1997 sunfire, also cig light - 12_6_2012_6_08_19_am.jpg

Sounds like you have a more serious electrical problem somewhere then, more than just the fuses. It could be a short somewhere. Electrical problems are hard to diagnose because they can be caused by such a wide variety of problems. At this point, I'm afraid the best thing to do would be to take the vehicle into a shop so they can find out what's happening.

I have to put number 2 fuse in to open back hatch power lock. All the other power locks work for doors without it not rearchatch. But its the horn so.... My horn blows and its not thevhorn relay in glove compartment because it blows. Its the padding that's gone in steering wheel.

2006 grand prix horn fuse keeps blowing. what should i look for

horn may be shorted internally. Try pulling the connector off the horn, put in a fresh fuse, see if it blows.

If it still blows, you have a short in the wiring or the relay. If there is no obvious short in the wiring, change the relay.

If the fuse doesn't blow with the horn disconnected, replace the horn.

Horn cruise control and cigarette lighter and other direct current plug are all out of commision is this all the same problem

Could be a fuse or two that blew out. Check fuse box and pull out fuses and inspect starting with the cig lighter fuse, horn fuse, cruise ctrl, and anything labeled as such.

Horn not working can't locate under hood.

The horn is located behind the grill on the right corner of the engine comp. The horn relay is located in the block behind the glove box.
Also the horn is on the same circuit as the cig lighter and dome light.
They use a 15amp fuse in the fuse block behind the lower left side of
the dash. Hope this helps.

The horn had been disconnected so was reconnected. now after 6 months it has stopped working. we can't seem to locate which fuse to test

instead of the fuse go right to the horn and test for power while someone pushs on it, the most common problem would be a bad horn or the relay. the power for the horn is listed under CIG, its the same fuse as the inteirior lamps and cig lighter and obd2 connector power, heres adiagram to show you the fuse, also this is inside under the dash driverside, hope this helps.179da3b.giff9aa32e.gif
