there should be a diagram on the fan shroud cover this will show you the exact way to do this it's a tag that has your firing order on it and the engine size and emmissions info on it as well

two things you can do first you have ignition draw means you have something stay running after you shut off the car you need to find the draw from where it is coming good mechanic will find the draw.second if you want to leave the car for few days you can disconnect the negitive cable and reconnect when you ready to drive this way the battery stays charged

There Are 2 Software Updates That You Can Get From The Dealer (If Not Already Installed), One Is An Update For The ECM, The Other Is An Update For The RCDLR.
The Other For The ECM Is An Unpublished Document
You Will Generally Be Looking At Paying 1H For Programming 2 Modules.
After This Have The Battery Properly Charged & Load Tested.
