Where are theOBD O2 sensor heater code po161 for a 1998 chevy. Silverado v 6

That is P0161 (letter "P" and four numbers)
P0161 Oxygen O2 Sensor Circuit Low ( engine cylinder bank 2 sensor #2)
What does that mean? This diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is a generic powertrain code, which means that is applies to OBD-II equipped vehicles. Although generic, the specific repair steps may vary depending on make/model.
It basically means the PCM detected either an excessive current draw, or an open or short in the circuit powering the oxygen sensor's heater circuit. This is in reference to the Heated Oxygen Sensor (2) located rear of catalytic converter (Bank 2).
A code P0161 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:
  • HO2S heater power circuit open
  • HO2S heater ground circuit open
  • HO2S signal tracking (due to oil or moisture in the connector)
  • HO2S is damaged or has failed PCM has failed

P0161

The PO161 code tells you

Did you not google it, to learn what the
reason for the code was

Doesn't mean a sensor is bad, maybe, but you have
to do some testing

PO 161--Bank #2 Sensor #2

Bank #2 is the side opposite cylinder #1
& Sensor #2 is the one at the converter outlet

Need to study OBD2 Systems before you go
any further

I have 2003 Ford Escape V6 I have to codes that read p0141 and p0161 and the car misfires I need help with this problem

P0141=O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Bank 1 Sensor 2
P0161=O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Bank 2 Sensor 2,
the 141 code is a problem with the heated O2 sensor on the drivers side exhaust after the converter,
the 161 code is the same except it is on that passenger side exhaust after the converter.

Dakota 4.7 P0161 code? What does it mean

P0161 02 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 2 Sensor 2)
check the wiring to the bank 2 sensor, that is the one behind the catalytic converter on the opposite side from the bank where #1 cylinder is located, see firing order diagram below.

I have error codes p0156 p0161

Check the wire harness near the top of the engine in the rear. They were good for rubbing through on the trans fill tube bracket. Judging by the code you have 4 sensors. you would be interested in the drivers side rear sensor.
