Dodge ram started, stalled now won't turn on

My husband started his truck yesterday, it stalled and now won't turn on. We have tested the battery and the battery is good, we are afraid my ex may have put something in his gas tank but are not sure what or if he did and are not sure if that would cause this sort of problem.

SOURCE: 1990 Dodge Ram truck will not start, makes clicking noise.

the clicking noise is the starter solenoid, the heavy electrical contacts that supply 12 volts to the starter are burnt, you will either need to replace the starter slenoid contact set or the solenoid.

SOURCE: need to replace fuel pump for my 1998 dodge ram 4x4.

there is an easier way to replace the fuel pump than dropping the tank. I replaced mine last week in about 30 min. I simply took the bed off only six or eight bolts depending on bed size, a few tail light wires and filler neck and over flow. might need someone to help get the bed off though.

I am having periodic problems with my truck stalling when I go to shift down to first when coming to a stop. It just stalls out then won't start & floods. After letting it sit for 15 - 20 min it...

It is possible that it is coincidence. Check if after revving it would stall after when your truck is in neutral or in park. This is to isolate the problem if it is the engine when in load or the transmission.

Is this a manual transmission? If there are shifting issues it may be the clutch. Other than that have the fuel pressure tested. The fuel regulator may be faulty or there are leaks or bad lines on the vacuum hoses.

Hi, I have a problem with a 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 series 5.2 Liter. It will crank over but won't start every once in a while it will start and run for about 20 seconds, then it dies and won't start...

check all your vacuum lines. if there is a vacuum leak, the truck will crank, but not start. if you need a vacuum diagram, go to www.autozone.com create a profile it's free, add vehicle. put in the info of your dodge ram. then from the main screen, where it says select a category, select vehicle repair guide. on the next screen select emission controls. on the next screen where it says select a chapter, select vacuum diagrams. as you scroll down just click on the diagram for your engine. hope it helps. good luck.

99 Dodge ram 2500 with cummins diesel stalled and won't restart. Changed fuel filter, and determined that there is fuel going to injector pump.

loosen one fuel line to one of the injectors, try to start the truck and look for the fuel to spray out of the line. it should spray rather hard if the injector pump is working right. if it just dribbles or trickles out you have a weak pump.

2001 ram would not start, but when started it ran rough & stalls

Your electronics won't work properly if voltage is low. Charge and load test battery to make sure it's good, then check charging system to make sure it's operating. Once that's squared away you can diagnose running problem if it is still there.
