Question about 1994 Honda Civic
Hey i got a 95 honda civic with a automatic transmission and the car wont shift down to any gear they stay lock i have to put the car in nuetrol then turn it on while in that gear to b able to drive it and wen i shut the car off and put it bac in park it locks again i can get it to unlock by puttin the key in the slot next to the shift
There is a switch on the brake pedal that needs replacing. it tells the transmission the brake is applied. you can take it apart and clean the contacts but I would just replace. should fix your problem as long as it is just the shifter hangs. It wont cure shifting problems while acclerating decelerating. just wanted to make sure I understood what you were saying.
