Corolla 2006- both driving headlights dont work, dims work. brights work if lever is pulled back, bulbs have been tested .wiring appears to be fine . all other lights, indicators are fine. car is drive

as positioning the lever in certain positions allows the lights to work then the problem will most likely be in the light switch itself. Replace the light switch unit.

While drivig my headlights get bright then dim

It sounds like a possible problem with you alternator not providing enough volts/amps to keep the lights steady. If it one light, it could be the bulb going out - buy a bulb from your local auto shop and try that. If it is both lights, you should have your alternator and battery checked at a Toyota dealer, local repair shop or if your handy with tools and don;t mind the work, pull them out yourself and take them to a local autoparts shop where they can test them for free. If either fail the test, replace them.

1998 toyota corolla dash and shifter lights out fuse and relay good

sounds like you have a bad panel dimmer control. try turning the control from bright to dim very fast a few times then slowly, do this in a dark area or at night with the headlights on, you should see a flicker of light occasionally. If you don't see any light then it could be either the headlight switch or the dimmer control, if you DO see any light, then it's your dimmer

The gear shift indicator lights on my 2000 Ford Contour (V6) are very dim. Is there a bulb or led that can be replaced to brighted this up? Where is that accessed? thanks,

yes its kind of a pain to change but there is a single t10 style wedge bulb 194 or 168

go to the auto parts store and buy a pack of 168 silver-star bulbs (they are $$$ like 10 bucks) but will be the best solution for brightness...

don't waste your money on led's like me they fail a lot due to overheating or make bad connections because they are in a plastic base

My brights do not work. I replaced bulbs,

I would go to an auto parts store and get one of those cheap ground detectors [looks like a little screwdriver with a bulb at one end and a wire withe an alligator clip on it].Test the wiring circuit by starting from the bulb and working toward the firewall until you find the issue [the point where the bulb lights up on the detector].
