SOURCE: need fil for error code P2626 Hyundai Elantra GLS

P2626 O2 Sensor Pumping Current Trim Circuit/Open (Bank 1 Sensor 1)

I'll sure this has to do with a faulty O2 sensor. This sensor is usually located around the header of your car, or down more on your exhaust.

Try disconnecting your battery for 30 mins, hook it back up, and start your car again. This will erase the error. See if it comes in again.

Hope this help (remember rated this post).

Your transmission is slipping which can cause a huge amount of damage both to the car and your wallet. Take it in for service as soon as you can.

My check engine light came on it said P2626

This is an O2 sensor failure with the sensor located in the manifold. The associated heater probably failed causing the sensor to fail.

P2626

looks like you may have a bad o2 sensor (bank 1 sensor 1 ) that would be the first one you see when you open you hood on the exhaust converter! it is seeing an open curciut condition so make sure to look at the wire harness going to it and that is not burnt on the exhaust or damaged in any way and if not changing that o2 should fix your issue! good luck
