You knock the seal and races out with a drift. You put the new races and seals in by using something round, like a socket, to drive them in. Of course, the experts will say you must have special seal drivers and bearing race drivers, but I've been fixing my Fords for 40 years and I have done several of these with what I had laying around.

Code P1443 is a evaporative emissions control system control valve.
This is a very common problem amongst alot of the newer vehicles most of the time it is not actually a problem with the emission control system, usually it is caused by just simply not tightening the gas tank cap. yes the gas tank cap, I had this problem pop up several times, after tightening it and making sure to tighten it very good each time I removed it, the code simply vanished. If you do not see the code vanish after Ten engine starts then I would have a trained professional technician look at it.
However this does not mean on and off ten times, do not do this as this may shorten the life span of your starter and various other parts of the vehicle.
hope this helps.

Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) P1443 indicates a failure in the EVAP canister purge valve circuit. The Evaporative Emissions (EVAP) Canister Purge (CP) valve controls the flow of vapors from the fuel vapor storage canister to the intake manifold during various engine operating modes. It may need nothing more than a good cleaning, vacuum hose connected or that is leaking, or may need more. I suggest you seek out the services of a good mechanic. Do not just throw parts at this. The code does not mean that any part needs replacing. It just means the EVAP system is being effected.
