Question about 2005 Honda Civic
I have brought an American 05 Civic to Canada. I need to hookup DRLs what do I need, is it a big Job?
Checking the electrical diagram in any aftermarket service manual would show you exactly where to make changes if you are satisfied with using low beams instead of auxilliary lower wattage bulbs, the addition of a relay that would turn on with the ignition and then be out of circuit when you turn on the lights for night driving to avoid changing how the high-low beams and the flash function works wouldn't be that difficult.
Anyone who can read electrical diagrams could show you how and where to cut & splice and there may be an empty relay socket in the car's panel for mounting it. There are often unused positions because of options not installed when new.
