It is not the computer.
If you take the dash apart and remove the digital insturment panel.., use a soldering iron and re-tin.., or heat the solder connections on the back of the circuit board.., just enough to briefly melt the solder.., to re-establish good electrical connections. You specifically want to pay attention to the IC Chip on the circuit board.., which is a 14 pin IC chip that is Black in color.., and measures about 5/16" x 3/4" usually labelled IC2 on the printed circuit board. You can start with this component and re-try connecting to the harness in the dash to see if it works.., if it works.., great.., if not.., just go ahead and re-tin all of the solder connections on the back of the circuit board. The 14-Pin IC Chip is usually the main source of the problems with this digital dash panel.
