Dewoo eleganza can not start. I have change the following brain box. Coil.sensor and fuel pump.Yet no solution

Sounds like you need to diagnose the problem. First approach: You could buy a book at the auto supply for that model car, and look up what it says about ODBII or ODB2 diagnosis. You buy this gadget at the auto supply that plugs into the ODB2 socket, is usually under the dash (or find location by searching internet), and it can flash a light in the instrument panel that is a code which you look up and it tells you what the car's computer found is not working right. There are 4 or 5 sensors that the computer uses to tell the fuel injection how much fuel to put in the engine. One can cause a problem. 2nd approach: Sometimes it is well worth the money to take it to a mechanic and ask him to diagnose the problem only, they may charge a $100 for that but saves you from guessing.

ODB1 versus ODB2

If the scanner or code reader will not communicate with the computer, you need to check the cig lighter fuse first.

Where is the plug in a 1994 toyota camry to hook up the diagnostic code box

Hi, according to, the connector is under hood, driver side, side of strut tower, mounted on strut tower. The pic below, hoewever shows it mounted to the intake manifold. This is an OBD1 connector. You must use an OBD1 scanner to extract trouble codes or use the manual procedure pasted below. Please let me know if you need an explanation of the trouble codes (please specify your engine and trouble code) or have any other questions.

All models except the 1MZ-FE engine is equipped with OBD I till 1995.
  1. Make sure the battery voltage is at least 11 volts.
  2. Make sure the throttle valve is fully closed.
  3. Place the gear shift lever in Neutral. Turn all accessories off.
  4. The engine should be at normal operating temperature.
  5. Using a jumper wire, connect terminals TE1 and E1 of the Data Link Connector 1 (DLC1).
  6. Turn the ignition switch ON , but do not start the engine. Read the diagnostic code by the counting the number of flashes of the malfunction indicator lamp.
  7. Codes will flash in numerical order. If no faults are stored, the lamp flashes continuously every 1 / 2 second. This is sometimes called the Normal or System Clear signal.
  8. After the diagnosis check, turn the ignition OFF and remove the jumper wire.
  9. Compare the codes found to the applicable diagnostic code chart. If necessary, refer to the individual component tests in this section. If the component tests are OK, test the wire harness and connectors for shorts, opens and poor connections.

Ssei is it an obd 1 or an obd 2, my engine lite is on but I get no reading from an obd 2 and a conflick of wich 2 terminals to cross for an obd 1

94 and 95 bonneville's have a odb1 system but the plug under the dash for the code reader is for odb2/.
you have to get a code reader that will read odb1 and odb2 with a manufacture special plug to read them.
also the computer in the 94-95 are only used in those 2 years.
new one at most auto parts stores is about $100.00
cheap compared to other years.
if you have lots of codes and it runs good but just turns itself off all the time it's the computer.
I had to replace 2 so far one in a 94 and one in a 95.

code readers cant.the scan tools can but are real expensive.if you havent drained the trans oil yet just drive it around a while and check it.if you have drained the oil then try to measure what you took out and put that much in.if you cant measure old oil then add fluid while engine running in nuetral{double check the nuetral position writen on dip stick} add fluid untill oil is below the add level let it run for a while say 30 minutes and recheck add th full then go drive it around.recheck again if low add if high drain out or siphion some out throuh small hose through the dip stick tube

Getting the error code P0442 with a ODB2 on 2004 Caravan

Code 442 indicates a vapor leak in the EVAP control system. Fuel vapors are routed through hoses to the EVAP charcoal canister, then via purge control valve, are rerouted through intake when engine running. Bad gas cap seal is the usual culprit, which you can try cleaning the seal & filler neck where it screws in, then erase codes & try again & see if it comes back, or may require new gas cap. Other areas to look is at hoses running to & from canister & purge valve for any crack that may be a source of leak.

Not apassat 1996 wrong car. for a 99 jetta no

one thing to do when you have no communication is after you visualy check grounds and wiring then do this unplug each engine sensor one at a time each time try to use the scanner when it does you will have found the bad sensor and the problem. otherwise its time to have pcm checked. but when a sensor goes bad sometimes due to grounding out it will not allow car to communicate but unplugging them one at a time and trying to communicate will locate the bad one start with them crank sensor.
