SOURCE: 2001 aurora won't start at all. Hook batery

The security system does not disable the starter, it only disables fuel to the engine. In the fuse block under the hood, locate the STARTER relay. Place your hand on this relay and see if it clicks while someone else turns the key to start...if the relay is ok then the starter itself is faulty. Good luck, i hope this helps.

I had the same problem. My issue was a wire that broke, probably because of wear and tear. Take the seat apart and investigate the problem thoroughly.

SOURCE: need radio unlock code 99 olds aurora

They are all random codes that are stored in the radio. The radio can lock it's self with possible 10.000 differant codes. You will need to take it to the dealer to have them use the gm scaner to retreive the code that is in the radio then they call the gm headquarters and those egg heads give an unlock code for the car. All of the make since?

My Oldsmobile aurora won't start. Battery still

The lights coming on are standard start-up checks.. The most likely issue is corrosion on the battery terminals. Pull them off give them a good clean up and try then. This is the most likely issue failing this it is probably the solenoid on your starter motor.

1995 Oldsmobile Aurora will start sometimes and other times it won't, I replaced the starter and still the same.

If the engine cranks but won't start, the battery and starter are out of the picture.
When it won't start, someone will need to check fuel pressure and for spark at the plugs to proceed.

There is a control module in each door with connectors. I have already had one where the wiring in the connector was bad. This takes some troubleshooting, but sometimes moving things around while trying to run the windows will should you where the loose connection is.

2001 Aurora will not start. Lights, radio and everything still work. What's up?

Does the starter crank?
When you turn on the ignition, but don't try to start, can you hear the fuel pump run for a short time?
