Question about 1998 Cadillac Eldorado
I dropped the tank and put a new fuel pump in and a new fuel filter but i keep getting the same code as PC0231 and i think that meens that the fuel pump isnt energized. how do i fix this problem?

have you checked that battery? it seems that it may need replace it might not be keeping a charge, the connectors to the battery could also possibly be corroded as well, which could caue connection problems, i had the sam problem with my old car and it turned out to just be the connection from the cables to the battery due to bolts needing to be tightend or corrosion.

check all vacuum hoses.if any looks cracked replace them.make sure carburater bolts are tight.check the egr valve make sure its not leaking.besure have your idle speed adjusted.it should be at 550 to 600 rpms.
