my guess is you are asking, does this car use CAN-bus
EFI varies by COUNTRY.
and exact engine, 1Liter.
what model car? there are many.
pick one here.
its mandatory in the USA, but Im in USA>
and know that is not true the world over, we dont rule the world, but some think so...
one way to tell is basics
the DLC is where the scan tool plugs in.
I have a DIY can-buss analyzer i made. so....
most cars, not all, have depopulated pins, for not used.
see pins 6 and 14? that is Can-bus
some cars , transitional use 2 level protocols
can-bux and one other,
in this case you see both pin sets.
this is because the maker is trying to make old scan tools work
at dealers lacking the latest tool;.
this is probably not true on any 2014, but then again, the world is a big place. and over 60 markets.
in the USA we are lucky with 3 major virtual FSM online
one is alldata.com
i click wiring chapter, PCM and DLC and see the comes used.
then click diagnostic page and bam, WHAT is uses is stated in the preamble. the real FSM, same thing x10.
If serious DIY , buy FSM with car,
hope i helped.
