Question about 1998 Saturn SL
I bought a 2001 saturn sl1 used. The airbag light is on. I took it in and it wqas diagnosed with codes b17 b26 b51. what do these codes mean? I was told that I need a new clockspring and possibly a module? does that sound right?
Ok that Sounds about right but only one problem, for all the components to be BAD, this means that this vehicle was involved in a serious enough accident for airbag to deplore. In most states its illegal to replace air bad that have been used. The airbag module will cost a pretty penny and the spool or "clockspring" will cost a pretty penny. Depending how much you paid for this vehicle + cost of these repairs to make this vehicle safe to drive becuase remember with airbag light ON airbags are NOT functional. The thing that I am thinking about is, was this a good purchased?JUST BEING FRANK WITH YOU Good luck and contact if you need more help. Thanks for using FIX YA
