I have a 1999 oldsmobile aleo i do not know where the engine coolant goes

Are you asking where to actually put the coolant in or asking why your coolant is needing to be replaced often?
If you are not sure where the coolant goes - it goes in the radiator. Should be in the front of the engine compartment, has a cap on top of it (either in the middle or on one side) with warnings about not opening of overheated. Unscrew the top & follow any mixing instructions on the coolant labels.
If you are loosing coolant & don't know why: Check coolant levels first, look for any leaks from hoses (make sure your connections are tight & hoses are not cracked/busted), check for leaks from the radiator itself (any holes or cracks), check the fan (is it turning like it should with the motor running), check the fan belt (is it broken). If all these things check out - get your water pump checked (if it's out, water is not getting to/circulating around like it should). If it's not the water pump, you may have a cracked head gasket. Check the easy stuff first though - good luck.

I need the routing diagram for a 1995 Jeep Cherokee 4.0L. the old belt broke off and there is no diagram under the hood

No diagram but it goes over the power steering pulley, going ccw, under the top idler (back of belt on pulley), over the ac compressor, over the alternator, up over the fan (backside of belt on pulley), around the crank pulley, over the water pump (back of belt on pulley) then you're back at the ps pump. It's tightened by loosening the pump pivots and using the long exposed jack screw below the pump to move it.

97 Jeep Wrangler 4.0 with AC & Power Steering. Need belt diagram!

Belt goes over power steering pump, under idler on left, over AC compressor, over alternator, over fan (with back of belt ) over crank pulley then over water pump (back of belt) then back to p/s pump. Routing is counterclockwise.

I replaced the water pump on my 1990 Ford taurus, but am drawing a blank as to how the belt goes back on. Not the alternator belt but the other belt I don't remember how the belt goes back on.

if you cannot find diagram near radiator then remember that on and serpintine belt ribbs on pulley's need to mate up with ribbs on belt and if there is a smooth pulley it mates up to the back side of the belt. ribbs to ribbs and flat to flat.

Water pump is out. How do I get id out to replace

is it a 4 or a 6 cylinder engine, well you need to take off the fan clutch if it has one if not skip the step; its just 4 screws, then take off the acc belt, then take off the hose that goes from the radiator to the water pump; at the water pump, then remove the screws holding the water pump; make note what screw goes where some screws may be different sizes; in some 4 cyl 2.3L engines the timing belt cover has to be removed to remove the water pump, then remove the water pump, scrap off all gasket residue from the surface of the engine, take automotive silicone gasket maker and apply a small amount to the new water pump and level it out then put the included gasket over the silicone, then let it set for a couple of minutes, apply a bit more of silicone over the gasket and again let it set then replace the water pump, replace the screws and tighten all of them snug then go back and torque them between 20 and 25ft lb, replace the water hose, replace timming belt cover if removed, replace acc belt, and finally replace the fan clutch and your all set i hope you can get the job done
