Question about 1984 Mercedes-Benz Mercedes Benz 300 Class
Hi , I have a Mercedes 1992 300E.When I turn lights on ,the lights on dash " for instruments" don't turn on.I checked all fuses in fuse box and they are good.where I have to look for their fuse?Any answer I appreciate .
Make sure your dash "dimmer" is not turned all the way done, its a small rod thats twists clockwise to increase dash illumination, counter clockwise to decrease...
Next..the bulbs in the back of the gauge cluster might be burned out , if they are the original bulbs, thats probably the case...

Tips for a great answer:
Don't you have some warning lights on your dash? MB cars are fly-by-wire that tend to depend so much on battery electricity when shut off. Use a high amps battery or battery recommended matching your car model. Check on some instruments that can be a parasitic drain to your car like, car alarm, sticking relays on auxiliary fans, radios. Worse you have a short somewhere or a wiring harness issue, but it should be giving you a warning on the dash.
