Question about 2002 Chevrolet Express
This is now the 5th fuel pump being installed on my 1998 chevy express 2500 van what is going on ...ran great for a week or so then just died out help
Where are you buying your pumps and what brand ? I would stay away from Airtec nothing but AC/DELCO from a repupable store not AZ !

You have to drop the fuel tank. It is inside. Hope the tank is near empty, remove the 2 fuel fill hoses, you have two straps, lower tank, remove 3 wire connectors, and several more lines. Please use an ac delco fuel pump module. It may come updated with a new wiring connector to fix the old ones problem. If it does, you have to rewire the van following the directions.

The fuel pump is located in the gas tank aquire a repair manual to have a detailed decription of the procedure in order to prepare for this job.

sounds like your engine immobiliser fuel cut off is activating.try taking battery teminals off,re-connect and re activate your immobiliser fob the usual way,**** it will re-set itself,& or your fob battery may need changing,it,s anti-theft cut off that is your problem.good luck.
