On a 1991 geo prizm auto trans.. differental oil should be put in through the speedometer gear housing. this is the simple way. now i actually put mine in in by reaching behind the driver front wheel and you can see the fill plug "bolt" keep in mind i had a wrench bent for this. mine leaks gear oil and have to add it once a month. anyways, i took about a 1/2 inch tube two and half feet long. with an elboe on it so i could pop it in the hole and fill it. anyone that has a geo prizm 88-93 i think should get this differental oil check or check it. i was on intersate and went from 65 mph to 45 mph very quick. the gears ate the housing up. had to look two weeks to find a trans for it. then found one sitting on the side of the road with a rod through the engine after driving four hours only to find out it was the same way mine was. Has anyone else had this problem?

Where is a diagram for grease /lube under chassis locations

under-body only.check
my guess not gear lube. right>? axles/gear boxes, (a plenty)
2wd, or 4wd?
what do you want to grease, you never said.
bearings, tie-rods, ujoints etc. only>?

are you asking for ZERKS? only?
or all places on car with grease.?
or
are you saying just grease? and only things that must not be removed for service with grease, (like wheel bearings and splines)

The free book posted over 200 times.
chapter 0, read that? lube/maintenance?
see the 4wd exceptions?
my 2010 has none.

the map includes LUBE points.
but adds gear boxes, axle gears, GL4 and GL5 (gear lube) is lube. too
but engine oil is not lube, to 1996 books.

1993.(oldest for GC) the word LUBE is wide reaching...

Check transfer case fluid 84 K5 Blazer

There should be a 3/8 square drive plug on the drivers side of the differential Just big enough to stick a ratchet with an extention in it. it is a NPT type plug it goes right into the side between the fins. Look for it it is there. Remove plug and stick your finger in there. if the tip of your finger gets gear lube (stinky) on it. Then you probably ok. If it doesnt. Add gear lube.

Rear differential leaking

Gear lube is SAE 75W-90 GL-5 gear lubricant. If you have a limited slip diff, add 4 oz of limited slip additive.
Torque cover to 15-20 ft-lbs.

You say you added gear lube. Where did you add the gear lube, to the differential? Because if you added gear lube to your master cylinder for the clutch, I think we found your problem. It calls for brake fluid.
