Replace fuel system on truck last year. one month ago replaced intake gaskets. Last weekend replaced dist. cap, rotarty button, plugs, wires and air filter. truck ran fine until this morning will turn over but will not fire. check to see if it was firing. It is firing with an orange spark instead of a blue spartk. any suggestions please.

It sounds like u have a cam correlation problem... Take ur cap off mark where ur rotor is pointing on the dist. Mark the firewall where the dist plug is pointing take the 10mm bolt out n look @ the dist gear and see how bad it's worn!! When u take the cap off some times they're so bad when u move the rotor u can tell the excessive play hope this helps!!!!
How old is the truck? On electronic ignitions these days, water seldom gets in dist. but there is a spray you can get to dry up water, just take dist. cap off and spray then wait a few minutes before replacing cap.
Sounds alot like the ignition sensor. In my old Chevys it was under the dist cap, mounted on the dist itself. Mine was flat, slightly curved rectangle shape, with two flat prongs coming out both sides. If it would get an internal break in it, you cant see it. I would have the same problem as you, part was only about $12. And comes out with unscrewing two screws.
Might want to give it a shot.
