If you mean its the "service" indicator its possible the exhaust sensor is telling the engine it is running incorrectly, fuel mixture wise. This is usually carried out by a Lambda unit in the headers. It may be rectified by an engine service but get someone to plug in a fault reader to get a better idea.

Series 1 1948-1962~
Completely straight sides..
Series 2 + 2a ~1962-1973~
Curves inwards just before bottom of windows on the sides, still has metal radiator grill untill very late models and also its door hinges are not square
Series 3 ~1973-1983
Plastic radiator grill, headlights moved from the radiator grill to the mudguards, square door hinges, plastic dash.
All information might have inconsistencies due to previous owners of the vehicle changing parts.
Depending where you live there should be a compliance plate somewhere in the engine bay. In Aus its next to bonnet latch which should say build year and month etc
