Disconnect the positive Battery cable (You will lose radio and seat settings and wipe computer memory clean) Remove the two 15MM bolts and lower starter down and out of the transmission starter well mark wires to which posts they go then unhook wires do not lose the shims if it has shims, they are important keeps starter from staying engaged after motor starts. Installation is reverse order.

Not starting?
If not, try this. Turn the key to on. Security light blinking? If yes, let it blink for 10 minutes + it will stop blinking. Remove key, then insert key and start car. Computers went bad on these often.

Replacing a car starter

this is a easy one of course if you have at least minimum mechanic ability..firt disconnect one of the battery cables..next find the starter located at the front of the car..is a good idea to have the new one so you know how it looks like and where are the bolt located..next remove the positive red cable at the starter...the big one.., next the smallest wire...be careful not to brake the small wire this one is the ignition signal..next remove the the two bolts that hold the starter to the block ..same way to install it back...hope this was very helpful...

Yes, the key, ignition, or Theft Deterrent Module is not funtioning properly. You can start changing these out 1 by 1, or bypass the whole system for about the cost of a new key. This link explains and will help you.

Ball joint, tie rod end or upper strut bearing. CV joints? Pulling to the left may be an alignment problem with front or rear tires. Get a four wheel alignment.
