SOURCE: can't get passenger side marker light out on a 2007 kia spectra

There is one bolt on top of the radiator support and another in back. The assy fits into a pluug that keeps it aligned so it cam be tough to remove. Just wiggle it side to side while pulling and it'll slowly come out.

Are you looking to fix the bulb that is in the corner of the headlamp? You don't need to remove the head light for that. The is a black cap that screws off just beind it.

SOURCE: kia spectra transmission removel?

Sometimes the axles on these do hang up. The best way to remove these is to take 2 pry bars to place on either side and very sharply, pull quickly and the axle should break free. You should feel it pop. Do not pull on the other end of the axle. It can disconnect the joint from the inside and the you have to remove the clamp and reset the joint.

How do I change the headlight on a 2006 KIA SPECTRA? Will I need to remove the front bumper?

i have a haynes 94 thru 04 for the spectra/ sephia its a little confusing but rather then removing the grill and doing this and that its saying--- 1995 1/2 and later remove 2 bolts 1 on top and 1 toward the hood latch almost at the corner of the light but still above the light itself . it says to pull out and disconect the electricals . compared to before 1995 1/2 seems to easy . nothing is ever that easy .

How do I change the headlight on a 2006 Kia Spectra?

Well, if it's the driver side (usually battery is on this side) - remove the battery. You should see the backing of the head light casing (two - three prong wiring harness/ may have two if brights are a seperate bulb). If only one, unscrew this couteclock wise, pull out old bulb, and insert new. Installation is reverse of removal.

Same with passenger side (remove anything that may be covering access to cover backing).

Please let me know if you need any further assistance.

How do you replace a Drivers side headlight bulb 2006 kia spectra

Helps to remove the battery, but small ahbds can do it.

Directly behind the lens is a big round cap ... twist it off. The bulb is held in place with a spring that locks in to a notch in the holder. When handling the new bulb, don't touch the glass. The oil from your skin will cause it to shatter when turned on.

2005 kia spectra - How to change the headlights out

I imagine that the 2005 Kia Spectra is very similar to our 2004 MY (mid year) Spectra. On the driver's side you first must remove the cover that extends forward from the battery. There are three plastic screws across the front and one screw on the left (as you face the engine compartment) attaching the cover to a bracket. Remove these screws and set the cover aside. The passenger side has no such cover to remove. For either headlight, there is a cup-like cover approximately 3 to 4 inches in diameter. Unscrew this cover (counterclockwise); I think you only need to turn the cover ~ 1/16 of a turn for it to come off. Set the cover aside. The connector is held in place by a spring-loaded clip that looks a bit like a bent paperclip. Press the end of the clip in and then away from the body of the connector. This will release the connector and the light bulb. Remove the old light bulb by pulling it straight out. Plug the new bulb in. In my experience, the hardest part of this simple task is putting the bulb back in and lining it up correctly. There are three tabs on the metal flange at the base of the bulb that must line up with slots in the housing. Pull the retaining clip out of the way and insert the bulb into the headlight cavity and align the tabs with the slots. Push the bulb in so that it is flush then push the retaining clip down and then toward the light bulb until it hooks under a hook on the bulb. If you've done this correctly, the retaining clip will be pressing the bulb firmly against the housing. Replace the cover by lining it up and turning it clockwise until it is tight. On the driver's side, line the cover up with the mating holes. Push the three plugs through the holes then screw the plastic screws in through the plugs the expand them until tight. Don't forget to replace the screw that attaches the cover to the bracket to the left of the battery.
I've made this sound a lot harder than it is. Sorry.
