Question about Cars & Trucks
The previous owners passed and the manual is missing. It was very dirty and is situated under the house in the crawl space. The controls are confusing to me. I don't understand if I am supposed to turn it on and leave it or if it works with the other climate control elements automatically. I found an installationmanual but it says very little about the electronic controls.

Have you checked the fuse under the dash. You can run power directly from the battery as you did to test the blower just make sure you use a high amp rated switch and make sure you install an inline fuse rated no more than ten amps if you use say 14 guage wire. Let me know how it goes good luck.

you cant adjust it ,this requires the dealers computer to re set it,or a phyiscal control has packed up like a vacumn pipe has split where it pushes onto the valve that controls the flap in the heater unit.

your water controll valve located at the right side of the engine near the extreme rear end of the inlet manifold may not be working properly hence the hot air .
