Its most likley that the motor in the door that controls the window has gone bad, or the window is off track.

2001 Aztek windows buzz

Sounds like your drivers side window regulator motor gear is bad as far as the other windows drivers door switch is most likely bad if you dont have experience working on electrical or have never taken apart a door panel I would recommend seeing a mechanic. To check the switch you have to disassemble passenger door panel accesa the window regulator motor disconnect the weatherpack connect hook up multimeter and test for power while having an assistant push the window switch down

Chevrolet impala driver power window switch buzzes windows will not operate

It is the most common problem of all vehicles with power locks or power windows, a wire has folded back and forth for 10 years in the door hinge area until it got stretched and broken. Possibley many wires. In your case only 7 years.

before you change the window motor check to see if you are getting power to the motor frist it could just need a new window
switch but if you need to change the motor the only thing you need to get the rivets out is a drill and a drill bet and they will come out

I checked fuses and relays when i put the window button to go down nothing happens but the relay itself under the dash makes a buzzing noise ..so confused please help..

The window motor sounds like it quit working. Test the window motor by grounding it and putting 12v to it with a jumper wire and see if it works. If nothing happens, replace the motor.

None of the windows will let down

If I understand correctly, none of your windows will operate at all. No up or down in the front or the rear. If this is the case, the buzzing sound you here may very well be the relay that controls power supply to the power windows. If you do not have the owners manual which will have the legend for all fuses and relays, see if you can get someone to help you. One person can operate the window buttons while the other traces down the location of the buzzing sound. If ALL windows make the same buzzing sound then you have lost your main ground to the power window circuit. This again would involve the malfunction of that same relay. Happy hunting and good luck, Dana

My 96 ford explorer power window will not work

TRY CHECKING THE SWITCH. WITH A TEST LIGHT, THERE WILL BE A WIRE THAT IS HOT. WHEN YOU PRESS THE WINDOW BUTTON, SEE IF ONE OF THE OTHER WIRES GET POWER TO IT. IF YOU GET A WIRE THAT LIGHTS UP ON THE BACK OF THE SWITCH WHEN YOU PUSH THE BUTTON, THEN THAT MEANS THE SWITCH IS WORKING AND THE MOTOR NEEDS TO BE CHANGED. IF ONE OF THE OTHER WIRES DON'T GET POWER THEN THE SWITCH IS BAD. HOPE THIS HELPS. PLEASE KEEP ME POSTED. THANKS FOR AN HONEST RATING AND FOR USING FIX-YA.

Stupid power windows!!!!

check the fuses. They are located on the end of the dash passenger side. If they check good, the motors are in need of replacing. Mine didi. The motors cost 300.00 from dealer or 100.00 rebuild from auto salvage. Good luck! That was the first among many problems my 99 had.
