SOURCE: Automatic Honda civic wont reverse

take it back. They missed something. You should have a warranty on the work. Of course that does have limits which include both mileage driven and months since the vehicle was released to you. I am guessing you did not do the work since your saying you had it done. There really isn't much you can do other than have it taken apart and checked. So long as your TCM (transmission control module is not bad= computer for transmission)

SOURCE: Automatic shut off code P0231 Changed fuel filter

It sounds like your theft control module is not reading your key. The ignition key tumbler has a 2 wire sensor that read a small diode on the key. I've seen the wires break and cause this type of problem. Unless you are familiar with how to disassemble the column and trace the wiring, it would be better to get an experience mechanic involved. Usually, if the tumbler has to be replaced, it may require reprogramming also.

1991 corolla 1.6L 4AFE.fuel injected. rpms high,misfire,weak acceleration,&exhaust/vacuum leak. other suggestions?

Your best bet on cleaning the fuel system is to add 1 can of B&G44K to the fuel. It is only available through dealership (11.00 a can at Toyota). It will condition your fuel pump and injectors. It is the best on the market and should not be substituted. Do this every 30,000 miles for continued performance.

My 2000 toyota corona premio, the problem was a faulty rear fuel pump, have changed a new fuel pump, gar goes well however if you go beyond 50km the car just losses power and shuts down.

Did you replace the fuel filter also. When they clog up. They can put out good pressure. But when you need the volume, it isn't there.

How do I make my 2.0 sonata 2001 light on fuel?

Presuming you mean you want to get better fuel consumption with your Sonata, here is a list of things you can do:
New air filter (clean airfilter) - check monthly.
Clean airbox in which airfilter sits.
Run fuel injector cleaner every 3to4 tanks of fuel.
Make sure the sparkplugs are clean and gapped correctly. Check every 20,000km -replace every 100,000km or when fouled. Replace all at the same time. Use a very good brand of sparkplugs with platinum tips. (move up to a heat range 1 higher if your driving is 50/50 mixed city/highway.
Make sure the sparkplug wires are no more than 50 ohms in resistance, are not cracked, boots are in very good condition and seal up on the plug.
Empty you car of all un-needed materials.
Wash and wax the car frequently.
Make sure the tires are correctly inflated -- check once a month.

I have several questions: Number 1 the initial minutes of my premio (corona) D4 2-litre engine raves at above the 1500 rev per minute but eventually returns to less than 1000 after some minutes;...

George,
1) Yes It is normal for corona Engines to have that high rev when the engine is still cold. It automatically adjusts to the Normal Rev/min when the engine gets warm so don't worry about that.
2) The Buttons are use when you are running on road. PWR means Power meaning that you lock the car in gear Five while sprinting. MNL stands for manual transmission.
3) Econ tries to show you that you are using a higher gear like say 5, therefore your fuel consumption is now being economized and thus low consumption. Actually, its always good if you drive your car with that light on coz it saves on your fuel. It get on automatically.

Don't forget to vote my solution if it was of help to you.

2000 Volkswagen Passat 4Motion 2001 passat v6 misfires at low rpm while trying to accelerate

When were the sparkplugs, airfilter changed,is there damp in the coil packs or the seals worn allowing in damp. The maf sensor(mounted in airbox top) may be faulty or the throttle throat may need cleaning.Fuel contamination can play a part, how old is the fuel filter as they should be replaced every 2 years.Check that all vacuum pipes are secure and not cracked as leaks can add to the problem.
