Question about 2002 Mazda 626
On my personal advice stay far away from any mazda. the parts are hard to get and only the mazdas in my shop had big problems,and and it has a belt not a chain

Reading Topic: Timing Chain?? Both the 4 cylinder and 6 cylinder use timing chains. These chains are pretty much service free and should last the life of the vehicle. Borrowed from http://forum.mazda6club.com/mazda6-atenza/121169-timing-chain.html
