Heater motor does not run; check all fuses

When it ran last it was on and off, then finally off. Could it be a loose connection?? Where is the motor located?

Check the ground side of the circuit. The blower motor should be under the passenger side of the dash or underhood near the firewall on pass side. If power is getting to the motor the problem is likely the ground or resistor/speed controller depending on manual or auto temp control. Autozone has wiring diagrams on thier website if you register with them[its free]

it sounds like the your electronic fuel injection system is pulling to many amps and is throwing a relay maybe a loose wire grounding out? you have to go through the whole electronic fuel injection system and check each wire for breaks and proper voltage

My blower motor works intermittantly, if i hit a bump in the road it may go on or turn off

hi, there a few things to check. is the fuse loose. or the heater motor connection loose. the trouble is the heater motor is normally in the middle of the dashboard. but sometimes if you take out the glovebox it maybe behind that. check fuse first. gerry

My blower is not working for my heater

first off! check the heater blower fuse in the fuse box if it is good? then check the power lead to the heater motor itself as well as the ground wire to it to insure proper connection if that all checks out satifactory then take a jumper wire from the B+ side of the battery straight to the heater motor if the motor fails to run then change the motor if it does run? then check / change the blower motor relay

FORD EXPLORER HEATER FAN MOTOR HAS A MIND OF ITS OWN. GOES ON AND OFF WHEN NOT IN AUTOMATIC AND IF I HIT A BUMP IN THE ROAD IT EITHER GOES ON OR OFF. I DID HAVE THE MOTOR REPLACED AND IT STILL HAPPENS I...

These can be like needles in a haystack, but here are the steps I would follow. First recheck the connections with a circuit tester, and make sure to wiggle while testing. Its also possible the fusebox itself is either loose, or has a loose fuse so replace the fuse. Get a schematic, and test anything else that may be in the same circuit. Finally if all this doesnt help then look on the schematic, and check all the grounds... This can be a very lengthy labour intensive job... Take your time and you will eventually find the problem.

MY FAN FOR THE HEATER AND AC WONT WORK

simple check...check the fuse for the motor. If that's good, look for an inline fuse or fusible link. Another possibility is that you have a bad fan control switch, or that there is a wire loose or broken there....check to make sure all ground wires are connected and not corroded. Final possibility is the fan motor is bad. If you drive in dusty areas (gravel roads), dust can inhibit electrical contacts, or bind up the fan shaft (becomes tacky and glue-like when damp). You can maybe clean with air and WD-40.

Blower motor will not come on in 2002 chevy trailblazer

Check the fuse. If the fuse if good either the blower motor is bad or the resistor pack is defective. Apply 12 volts directly to the motor to see if it is good.

The heater quit working and the panel wont light up on a 1992 Chevrolet pickup

check the "blower motor fuse" "heater fuse" and ac fuse and relay. these will be located under the dash on the drivers side usually mounted near the foot rest next to the door AND under the hood along the fender on the passenger side.
