Question about 2001 Ford Mustang
I turned off the car to put gas in then when i went to start it it started clicking like a dead battery so i had a friend jump me and still did not work i changed the starter motor relay and now starter only clicks once and power cuts out
Sounds to me that your starter is gone. There is one thing you can do, try tapping ya starter and then try starting the car. If it starts then you have what is called a dead spot in ya starter. The only fix for this is a new starter. Make sure that you dont have a bad wire going to your starter also. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: 95 F150 wont crank
the starter should be replaced. The solenoid is kikcing the pinion out but there is no contact being made to turn the starter motor. I have the exact same truck and before i changed the starter used the old starter tap trick. Tap the starter casing with a hammer and it should start turning again. hope this was helpful for you. Good luck.
