On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls. Then you can access the bolts that secure the mirror onto the door

The switch panel is held on with a spring clip on the front ( towards the point by the front of the truck ) and a tab to the rear ( towards arm rest / back of truck ).
If you want pictures, you can download the PDF version of the signal mirror directions from www.kwmuth.com. Obviously you only need the part for the switch panel. The switch is held on with 2 locking tabs to the switch panel.

The master switch connector does have circuits that have power on them. The Master switch is not directly connected to the window motors. The switch sends a signal to the Front Electronic Module and the module controls operation of the motor on the driver side. The passenger door window motor is controlled by a different module
