Been burning up to three quarts of oil after 2,600 miles. happened three times before every oil change.
Sounds like possibly a bad intake gasket? bad valve guides, or stuck piston rings...or many other possiblities..perhaps a bad PCV vavle.
It should still be under factory warranty

I have a 2010 vehicle with about 34,000 miles on it and it's under warranty, had problems with shifter, took back to dealer, they gave me a new user car for 2 days and fixed mine,no charge.

After checking out alot of Honda/Acura forums I'm finding that many owners experience the same problem you are having. The best explanation I found was at 2carpros:

From what I'm reading, only way to stop the oil loss is a new engine. If your car is running fine, I'd hesitate to change anything with the engine and stock up on oil.

The Isuzu rep. says that it is normal for one to use a quart of oil every 750 to 1200 miles per. Isuzu motor co. I have worked for a dealer for over 15 years. I have seen a few of them come in with no oil in them because people never checked it. They thought they were good until the next oil change. Remember these vehicles have a 4.55 gear in the rear end and running 80 or faster on the highway it will be wound up tight.

I had same problem....valve seals were bad....dealer fixed free...warranteed 7 years or 70,000 miles...good luck!

My 2001 was having the same issue. I replaced the PCV valve and it fixed the problem. Total Cost 5.00. It is easily accesable but you may have difficulty finding it. It is located Left Rear Top of engine (Passenger side). Its brass and it screws in. I went online at my library and found diagram at this location. http://content.chiltonsonline.com/Repair/PrintView.aspx.
