Question about 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee

1 Answer

Car was fine, then would not turn on, no grinding noise, nothing

Lights were on, radio went on, seats moved. It is a 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The next day went out and tried it and it started right up and has since - any ideas of what the problem is? We are afraid we will get stuck somewhere when it decides to do it again.

Have a 98 Jeep Grand Cherokee used cruise control last week made a grinding noise I turned it off truck went slow for a few now it will not accelerate past 50mph what could be wrong?

Nothing in the cruise control system to make a grinding noise. It is electronic or maybe with yours vacuum controlled. Or a little of both. This could just be coincidental. If it did die, it wouldn't keep you from going faster than fifty. Have the engine and transmission codes read.

it sounds like coolant was also spraying the engine or something, but you need to have the codes read to know exactly whats going on.
