SOURCE: replace starter in 2004 honda accord

Try 'jiggling' the key while you hold it in the start position' this could be a failed ignition switch.
It could also be that the + terminal on the starter or starter solenoid may be corroded. Since the battery was just replaced, those terminals are probably clean enough but check the negative cable where it attaches to the chassis or block. If the connection is flaky here, enough current can often pass to allow lower current devices to operate but drop too much voltage if the starter is trying to operate. Starters require 100-200 amperes, many times higher than anything else in our vehicles and show up cruddy connections pretty quick.

Change alternater in a 2004 chrysler pacifica

to remove your serpentine belt and alternator you will need a long 3/8 drive rachet or a special tensioner remover set you can rent from autozone. then you need a rachet set from 10 mm to 15 mm,
before to do anything you have to dsiconect the battery, startin with the negative cable (-) then the positive (+), then remove the big wire from the alternator, removing the nut (10 or 12 mm) then the electric conector ( unlocking tab). then look for the tensioner , at the battom of it it has a square hole where you need to insert the 3/8 drive tool or rachet, pull to the right, you will see the serpentine belt begin to be loose. remove the serpentine belt and alternator by loosing the bolts that are attached to the alternator. to install it folow the same. but backwards. good lock

How do i change the timing chain

Disconnect the negative battery cable with a ratchet and socket, read the serpentine belt routing diagram located under the hood, then release the serpentine belt tensioner using a ratchet and socket, and carefully remove the serpentine belt from all of the pulleys with your hands. 2 Install the new belt according the routing diagram, then ease the belt onto the belt tensioner pulley and tighten the tensioner with a ratchet and socket.3 Reconnect the battery cable and start the car to test the belt.

Need to change the alternator on a 2001 sunfire,2.4 engine, how do i do that?

    Things You'll Need:
    • Battery terminal wrench
    • Serpentine belt removal tool
    • 3/8-inch ratchet
    • 3/8-inch metric socket set
    1. Turn off the engine and place the transmission in park (automatic) or first gear (manual). Engage the parking brake and open the hood. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery terminal using the battery terminal wrench.

    2. Remove the serpentine belt by inserting the end of the serpentine belt tool into the square hole on the belt tensioner and rotating the removal tool clockwise. Unplug the alternator's electrical connector. Remove the bolt holding the positive voltage cable to the alternator using a 3/8-inch ratchet and a metric socket. Remove the positive voltage cable from the alternator.

    3. Remove the alternator bracket bolts using a metric socket connected to a 3/8-inch ratchet. Remove the alternator from the car. Place the new alternator in the mounting brackets and reinstall the mounting bolts using a 3/8-inch ratchet connected to a metric socket.

    4. Reinstall the positive voltage cable on the alternator and tighten the retaining nut using a 3/8-inch ratchet and a metric socket. Plug in the alternator's electrical connector. Compress the serpentine belt tensioner using the serpentine belt tool. Reinstall the serpentine belt according to the belt-routing diagram located under the hood.

    5. Reconnect the negative cable to the battery using the battery terminal wrench. Start the engine and verify that the alternator works.
