My 90 Ford 150 key truns on everthing works but dont trun over put new starter solenoid on what could it be ?

you need to check the voltage from the key switch to the solenoid, only if there is power to the solenoid will it work . Once this is correct then the solenoid will click to swittch on the starter motor. If not the starter motor is a suspect, it can be failure of the brush or the commutator.

I lost my key for an 98 ford explorer and i just got a key made but wont trun the locksmith made a key from the door lock we put it in the ignition but it wont trun

There should be 8 cuts total on the key. While the door and the ignition share some of the same cuts you cannot get all the cuts from one cylinder. I believe that the door cylinder only uses 6 cuts and the ignition cylinder uses 7 cuts. The cut closest to the head of the key is #1 and the cut closest to the tip is #8. If I remember correctly the ignition cylinder uses cuts 1 - 7 and the door cylinder uses cuts 3 - 8.If the locksmith cannot decode the ignition cylinder you can try to contact you local ford dealer and see if they can find a key code and cut a key from that otherwise you may have to replace your ignition cylinder.

When i put the key in the ignition it won't turn. why?

The ignition is breaking down. Many times you can still get it to work by pulling the key about an 1/8 of an inch out and then trun it. In either case you need a new ignition switch.

Ignition switch will not trun off. can not remove key.

Rock the steering wheel while working the key to get it out. Once out, give the lock a puff of graphite powder, work the ignition switch with the key several tomes, and give it another puff. It will be smooth as silk!

Turn key on nothing ,trun key off and on three or four time then it start

Either u got problem in ur ignition switch contactor(it is located aty the end of ur ignition key assembly) or the starter solenoid.

Do u hear any clicking sound when u try to crank ur ignition key? if u hear some clicking sound that means ur starter solenoid got problem.

If u don't hear ny clicking sound, that means ur contactor in the switch is at fault!

better bring ur car to ur nearest garage to fix on that, if u can fix it it by urself try it.

Have power and cchanged fuel filer and still will not trun over

By turn over, I assume you mean start. If this is the case you need to check that you are getting a spark at ALL the spark plugs and check the timing.

If you mean the starter does not crank the engine, then you should start with the starter and make sure you are getting voltage there when you turn the key. Normally there is a big wire directly to the battery and small wire that is controled by the ignition key. Check both wires. The big one should have voltage whether the key is in the start position or not.

Hi - the cenral locking does not work from the key - although the battery was recently replaced - I have tried resetting from the ignition - no luck. Also the central locking has started locking itself and...

just making sure i got this correct, it is a 2006 604? if it is that way to reprogram your key is only through the ignition or through a dignostic system which reprograms both, just checking make sure you do this correctly ( not teaching grandma to **** eggs as you said you have tried) first, incert key in ignition , trun ignition on (dont turn over) hold the lock button for 10 seconds (try being precise on the 10 seconds) switch ignition off, remove key, wait 5 or so seconds ( no less than) and that should be it, hope this helped
