My 3800 v6 engine is running very bad as if only on 4 cylinders after degreasing it at car wash 6 hours ago .engine shudders under exceleration and vibrates .

There is a good chance that you might have gotten a coil pack or the DIS module wet and the engine is not firing on all cylinders. If the problem does not clear up when everything is completely dry, check for spark on all cylinders. One coil pack fires 2 cylinders and I bet you have one not firing.

WHEN DRIVING THE TRUCK DOES NOT HAVE ANY POWER AND BACKFIRES

Sounds like your truck is misfiring.I would check your sparkplugs and spark plug wires. If they look good its probly a its probly a coil pack. There are 2 of them and they should be located together on passenger side of motor. easiest way to get to them is probly take off passenger front tire and list up rubber flap and they should be right there. only bolts per each one.

02 gmc sanoma turns over but doesn't fire I replaced distributer, rotor, plugs, ignition coil, fuel filter, and the fuel pump turns on and the gas is getting to the fuel rails near the feul pressure sensor.

Check to see if you have compression on all cylinders. If you don't, replace the timing chain/belt. If you do check the ignition relay and fuse panel for blown fuses.

94 gmc sonoma 4.3l vortec new coil, plugs, wires cap and rotor still no spark coming from the coil?

The ignition module in the distributor is what you need to give the engine spark to the plugs. It senses signals from the PCM to regulate the spark control and this item is the part that took over the old style point & condensor type ignitions. It is time for a new one in your truck

I have a 2001 Mercury Sable the check engine light is on it also blinks at times. I have done a oil change also air filter and oil filter checked the spark plugs and replace an air flow hose the engine...

First I recommend you get an auto repair/maintence manual for about 20.00. by Chilton or Haynes then check trouble codes for your sable, this manual is reasonable and will aid you in any further and future repairs. this manual is the type I use, I work on or vehicles-( shady tree mechanic)

Spark plug wires mismatched. 1996 GMC Sonoma Pickup Truck.

Their is no distributor on a this vehicle from the factory. Their are two coil packs loctated underneath the intake manifold. If the coil packs have not been replaced then they will be labled 1-4 in white numbers next to the terminal. The pack lolcated on the lowerside of the ignition module should be 2 / 3 and the top 1 / 4.
