I have a 2005 Hyundai Getz GSI CRTD with diesel leak from bottom of fuel pump. Any ideas? Dave

The Delphi radio diagram shows 10A FUSE 2 in the passenger compartment junction block, but 15A FUSE 12 and 20A FUSE 13 apply as well.
The alternate radio w/amplifier is the same.

have the exhaust checked for blows etc if ok add fuel additive that covers the catalytic converter as well as cylinders,valves etc follow the instructions on the product.May just need the engine carbon build up removing

How to bleed my hyundai getz diesel pump

Loosen all the lines at the fuel injectors and crank the engine until the air bleeds out and then tighten the lines, you may have to do this twice.

there will be a bung in the bottom of the tank but i advise you get it done professionally, because they'll have to check and test alot of things as putting petrol in a diesel engine can cause alot of damage internally. you probably shouldn't even drive it to a mechanics shop because the more you drive it the more damage it'll cause.

dont think this vehicle has a fuel filter ,only a gauze inside the fuel tank on teh bottom of the sender/pump unit ,best advice i can give is that if it runs ok leave well alone you should never need to clean it out as modern petrol pumps in garages have micronic filters inside the delivery pumps .

I've the same probem, it's been 'fixed' twice in the cars life but re-occurs.
I believe the throttle body gets 'gunked-up' possibly due to a faulty solenoid or sensor.
I don't have a full solution but will post when I do.

2005 getz cuts out

fuel filter-fouled plug?-fuel pump going bad-timing belt may need replaced maybe stretched causing timing off-plugged or globulated injectors(get seafoam walmart read directions pour into tank)-plug catalactic convertor-spark plug wire arching!!! :)
