Question about 2002 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
I change the gray panel for the taillight assembly,also checked all fuses and still nothing my third brake light works but others don't,the blinkers,reverse lights and taillights work,could this be a broken ground if so is the ground on the frame or inside
SOMEONE must have found a solution, why isn't it posted?!?!?!?!?!?!

Check the break light switch its on the top of the paddle if its getting power also check it the button on the top of the switch is not stuck in side

check fuse under hood, batery terminals coroded wire at harness if everything fails run a hot wire to rear brake line with an interuptor.
check the swich under the foot brake.

Had the same issue in the spring. Replace the turn signal switch. A general weakness in the switch in these years. Replacement solved the problem in my 97 Lumina.

I've worked on these the first drove me crazy. its the turn signal switch every thing runs thru these. head lights, turn signal, brakes. except the third brake light. it runs directly from the brake switch. go figuare
