The Trailblazer (my '02 anyway) has TWO fuse blocks. Naturally the on under the hood but there's a second on under the drivers side back seat. There you'll find the, probably blown, fuse that controls your brake lights, including your third brake light and cruise control. ;-)

Correction, this fuse shouldn't affect your third brake light, I'm sure it was already working, sorry. Good luck, hope above advice helps.

There is a SECOND fuseblock under the drivers side back seat, THERE is where your fuse is. ;-)

Had the same issue in the spring. Replace the turn signal switch. A general weakness in the switch in these years. Replacement solved the problem in my 97 Lumina.

Brake lights work but the running lights don't

its a fuse,or that circuit has a short .in the old days your dash lights would be out also.but trailblazer electrical defies logic for me.there is a circuit board for taillights.but if there all out look for burned out fuse.dont forget to check out side ones also.i seem to remember a fuse block under back seat but mine was an early one.one i had, had every bulb was burned out never knew why, wife traded it in with 13000 miles on it.it liked the dealer

CRUISE CONTROL WON'T WORK ON 2005 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER

check cruise control fuse and check the brake lights see if brake light working because the brake light switch will deactivate cruise control when brakes is applied.if brake lights dont work either fuse blowed or switch bad.if all is good have vechicle code scan because cruise control control by PCM and vechicle speed sensor and thottle actuator control motor.

2006 Chevy Trailblazer...the top "third"

Brake light problem - if bulbs and fuses (#34 and #43 in rear fuse panel) are good, then only other possibility are the circuit boards where all the tail lights are located.

Noise coming from rear is the mode control actuator in the rear HVAC unit, it is trying to move a stuck blend door.

2005 Chevy Trailblazer no brake lights, but third brake is working....

The body mounted brake lights, are on a different fuse than the upper light. Check fuse #12 a 25amp fuse in the fuse block under the hood on
the left fender. The upper light fuse #16 a 10amp fuse in the rear fuse
block, under the left side of the back seat. Hope this helps.

Brake Lights are not working.

check the switch itself,on the pedal, most likly if you drive this model car too long with a bad brake switch,it WILL damage the transmission!!
